Conference Theme & Focus
The 2026 European Conference on Information Systems, to be held in Milan, Italy, will be hosted by Bocconi University in collaboration with the University of Milan.
Discussions & Key Topics
The conference provides a platform for researchers, industry leaders, and policymakers to explore new technological developments, discuss their practical implications across various sectors, explore theoretical advancements (e.g., offering new perspectives on digital transformation, technological adoption, and the socio-economic implications of digital systems), and address challenges related to ethics, sustainability, and digital responsibility in an increasingly interconnected and data-driven world.
Tracks & Community Engagement
In addition to the conference theme, ECIS will include a range of both traditional track themes (that have helped shape the European Information Systems community in previous years) and innovative track themes (that will help the community to understand and shape developments in emergent areas). The aim of ECIS 2026 is to provide a platform for people in the Information Systems field to discuss fundamental as well as innovative issues related to information systems.
